Paws on Patrol
‘Paws on Patrol’ is a street warden initiative inviting dog walkers to help to make our neighbourhoods safer by:
- Reporting any unusual activity while walking your dogs
- Providing the police and Council with information
We are not asking members to step in and take action – but as dog walkers spend a lot of time in their communities at varied times of the day and evening and are likely to notice unusual behaviour or situations.
New Paws on Patrol members will receive:
- A pack of 10 poop bags (while stocks last)
- A 10% discount on dog micro-chipping through the Street Warden Team

Alcohol Exclusion Zones
We have four alcohol exclusion zones in the Forest of Dean district. These are in:
These zones give a police officer or PCSO the ability to direct people not to consume alcohol and/or to confiscate it. It then makes it an offence for anyone to fail to comply with these directions. In October 2017 alcohol exclusion zones will become Public Space Protection Orders (PSPO's).
