Allowances for district councillors

In line with Government Regulations, we set the allowances which councillors may claim for doing their duties, taking into account the recommendations of an Independent Panel. For basic information, please:

The recommendations included in the Panel's report for the financial year 2017/2018 were considered by the Council at its meeting on 23 February 2017.  The Council decided to approve all the recommendations made by the Panel, and those decisions are reflected in the scheme of allowances for 2017/2018, available from this page.
