Forest Economic Partnership meeting
Representatives from local businesses, business clubs, schools, colleges and public sector organisations are invited to contribute to group discussions at the next Forest Economic Partnership meeting.
The meeting will be held on Monday 16 April from 10am to 12 noon at Vantage Point Conference Centre, Vantage Point Business Park, Mitcheldean.
Local businessman, Andrew Callard, the partnership chairman said: “Our next meeting will be based around group discussions and we are offering an open invitation to anyone who feels that they have an interest in or would be able to contribute to key topics around education and skills, digital communications, infrastructure and transport and the Severn bridge toll removal and cross border working.
“The partnership meetings are a great opportunity for local employers, education and training providers and other public and voluntary sector partners to network and take part in group discussions to identify priorities actions in each of the key areas.”
Councillor Tim Gwilliam, Leader of the Forest of Dean District Council said: “We have established the partnership to give the Forest of Dean businesses a voice in the strategic planning and policy making in Gloucestershire, to ensure the district is recognised as a dynamic place to work, live and do business now and in the future.
