Support to live independently

Forest Linkline

You don't need to move into 'sheltered' or 'extra care' housing to receive support. Forest Linkline is a 24-hour emergency monitoring service provided by the Forest of Dean District council that:

  • provides peace of mind to those living or working in an isolated area
  • enables vulnerable people to remain independent
  • reduces risks of injury
  • provides immediate response in case of illness, accident or any other incident in the home

For an informal chat about our service or to arrange a home visit:

Telecare offers support for those needing a higher level of assistance in their own home. Eligibility for equipment is not means tested, but based on the individual's needs and the risks identified at the time of assessment.

To organise a Telecare assessment:

  • visit Telecare
  • call the Adult Helpdesk on 01452 426868
